How to Cover Acne & Blemishes WITHOUT Foundation easy & non cakey

so you have acne or blemishes  and you want to cover them without using  foundation  you’ll probably use a high coverage  concealer and maybe i’ve been using a  sponge  and keep applying until it completely  disappeared  but it might be looking cakey and  unnatural so i got you covered today i’m  going to show you how to cover acne  blemishes scars and all of your skin  imperfections without using foundation  in a way this still looks very natural  so  enjoy before we jump into covering acne  or blemishes there are three things you  should keep in mind  first flawless skin is unachievable in  real life  so commonly we see people on social  media who appears to have  perfect skin but in reality we have used  enhancements like  ig filters photoshopping strong  artificial light or whatever  but in real life even if you cover all  skin issues with  high curry foundation or concealer you  can still  see like bumps skin texture  discolorations despite all of your hard  work to cover  and make it look flawless our goal today  is to cover  all skin imperfection by around 70 or 80  percent  and keep it as natural as we can  if you try to cover especially with  using only concealer it might end up  looking cakey  and natural compared to area you didn’t  any product on  while i’m filming i didn’t use any  artificial light so you can see  how it looks in real life under natural  light it might not look perfect but  that’s exactly what we see in real life  second thing you should keep in mind  is when you choose a concealer shade  matters  more than how much coverage it has  people tend to think shade doesn’t  really matter  as long as the product has full coverage  because it’s just straight forward so  make sure the shade you choose  blends really well with your natural  skin when you use a foundation it would  matter less  because it’s just covered all over your  face but in the case when you use only  concealer for targeted area  choosing a right shade is very important  over  coverage to find the perfect matte shade  for your skin  test some products on your chin area  along your jawline  but only use a tiny bit of product to do  so  and then blend and see which one looks  the most natural  and like your skin third thing you  should keep in mind is  prepare your skin with a moisturizer  before  makeup especially if you have acne on  your cheek  the area will be dry with some dry  patches and if you  put concealer on the top of it it could  end up going spotty  so moisturizer is the best primer before  you do your makeup  more than make a primer to prepare more  skin i use this  nano crochet moisturizing cream it is  very gentle  and efficient moisturizer and leave the  skin soft and hydrated so these are  things we should keep in mind before  covering acne or blemishes  so let’s move on to what we actually  need to cover  first thing you need is light to medium  liquid concealer for  wider area this type of concealer is for  more like covering redness or  hyperpigmentation  to even out your skin tone compared to  acne specifically those areas wouldn’t  require  that much high coverage so in that case  you won’t need that much coverage  whether it’s a light or medium or  in between it depends on how much  coverage you want to cover  wider area like cheeks or forehead  in terms of product recommendation i  already made a video about concealer  recommendation  specifically so you can check it out as  well second thing you need  is this medium sized concealer brush to  use the concealer  i personally prefer this type of flat  concealer brush because it helps the  product to  stay in place you put a product but in  the case when you use  this type of buffing brush in a sweeping  motion  it will be more likely buff away rather  than staying in  so dabbing product with this flat  concealer brush will help to get  more coverage yet we’re still small  amount of products third thing you need  is full coverage concealer for  targeted areas to cover acne  specifically  it will require high coverage so it  could be something  like cream product with that waxy  like thick texture and it sticks onto  your skin  like a glue so it wouldn’t move easily  the last thing you need is this small  size concealer  to use the concealer to make the look  very natural with using high coverage  concealer  we don’t want to apply like too much  so we need a tool this teeny tiny  concealer brush will allow you to apply  the product on small area so now let’s  finally move on to covering acne  or blemishes so we have beautiful model  and my subscriber hasar and i’m going to  show you how to cover  her skin issues without using foundation  but concealer so there are two areas to  cover  first side cheek following her temple  this is the area  i’m going to mainly focus on second a  little bit on her chin  and the skin around her lips these are  the areas that are needed like a bridge  to find the perfect match for her skin i  test a product that she’s been already  using on a daily basis  i found that it looks a bit yellowy and  dark on her skin tone so i mix this with  a light shade concealer with cool  undertones  as you can see it becomes lighter and  less of a yellow tint  and i test it on her chin again and see  how it looks  i found that it matches perfectly so i’m  going to use that  customized shade first using a light to  medium coverage concealer with a  medium-sized concealer brush  place the product first on the darkest  point on your face  the area you put concealer on first is  the area you will get the most  coverage once you put the product on the  area please don’t go over again  if you keep applying on the same area  over and over  it would be more likely go patchy  so move on to other areas you feel like  you need to cover  after second spread the product with  medium-sized concealer brush  after putting a concealer on the area  you want to cover  blend the edges to make it look natural  take a high coverage concealer by using  the small concealer brush  and cover small areas where you want  more coverage  it could be acne pimples or  strong hyperpigmentation  to cover pop pimples or acne  covering only the surface of it wouldn’t  be that helpful to make it  less visible because you can still see  from the side  but if you cover all sides of it it can  be covered up perfectly  and last step is again spread the edges  with medium sized concealer brush  to make it all natural the most  important thing  about covering is starting from light  layer because  if there’s any area you want more  coverage you can go over  so less is more always here’s the final  look and as you can see  her skin tone looks even and clear  without looking cakey  but natural  so we have another beautiful model hana  she has acne some redness and  enlarged pores on her side cheek so i’m  going to focus on the area  as i did previously i’m going to start  with using  medium coverage concealer to cover the  area  so i’m going to focus on the area that i  needed the coverage  so it would be acne and redness  after that i’m going to blending the  edges and  make it all natural and then i’m moving  on to  enlarged pores to cover to cover large  pores  all you need is concealer and concealer  brush  this time it would be easier for you to  use  a buffing brush or something really  steep because it will push the product  into your pores and help to fill in them  in that case when you have only flat  concealer brush you can still cover them  by using the tip of the brush and  filling them with concealer  by doing that you can see the pores are  gradually fading away  after finishing all worked with medium  coverage concealer  take a thick high curry concealer again  i’m going to cover  where is needed the high coverage  i didn’t use a lot of cover  feel very light really i feel i’m  feeling like nothing  so these are all about covering acne  blemishes  all skin imperfection without using  foundation but  concealer i hope you guys find this  video very helpful  although this video is about technique i  think it’s just awful mindset that you  don’t  have to try to make the look perfectly  clear because  it’s unrealistic i just want you to  remind this mindset  and ideas whenever you do your makeup  if you find this video very helpful i  would highly encourage you to share this  video with your friends  or families who’ve been struggling to do  copper acne  or blemishes thank you so much for  watching today stay safe and healthy  and i will see in the next one bye  you
